Personal Aim
Prakash’s journey began with a simple belief — that numbers tell a story, but people give those numbers meaning. With over three decades of experience working alongside small and medium-sized businesses, Prakash has supported everyone from one-person start-ups taking their first brave steps to well-established companies juggling growth, structure, and strategy. His mission has always been the same: to help business owners see the bigger picture — to not just do the work, but to grow through it.
He believes that true success in business comes from mastering more than just the technical side — it’s about understanding people, processes, and purpose. Over the years, he has invested deeply in developing not only his financial and commercial expertise but also his interpersonal, management, and IT skills, combined with a mindful, spiritually grounded approach that brings balance and clarity to his work with clients.
Before founding Sterling in 1992 — with just two loyal clients and a big dream — Prakash trained with a two-partner West End firm, where he qualified as a Certified Accountant in 1988, before moving to a dynamic five-partner practice in Finchley. Those early years gave him a first-hand understanding of how the best businesses grow — through trust, integrity, and a genuine care for the people behind the balance sheet.
